FP Consulting goes from strength to strength
First Protocol's consultancy business has already achieved a 100% increase in revenue on last year, with further projects in the pipeline. Recent work has included business case preparation for an Olympic sponsor and management of a multi-billion pound RFP response for a major card services provider.
FP wins New Outsourcing Contract
First Protocol has won a major outsourcing contract with a US investment bank to provide an event marketing team on a long-term contract. Sarah Randall has moved from FP's London office as the first implant at the bank, with more to follow in the coming months. This contract confirms First Protocol's position as the leading provider of event marketing outsourcing solutions in the UK.
Event Manager Susanne Stansell joins the New York office
Susanne has been assisting in a freelance capacity as an Account Executive since February and has proven to be an invaluable addition to the event management team, assisting with a variety of projects and managing to effectively juggle them while always keeping a positive attitude.
New Hosts Challenge Big Party Players during White House Correspondents Weekend
As the White House Correspondents' Association dinner lured the usual assortment of Hollywood stars and New York media heavyweights, some new hosts entered the fray to compete for guests and press mentions. First Protocol supported new co-host Thomson Reuters reel in a mix of media, political and business players with a unique breakfast reception on the rooftop of the Hay-Adams Hotel, with views over the White House, enabling Thomson Reuters to engage with their key audience without competing in the same space as their rivals.

Howard Givner Appointed
First Protocol has retained Howard Givner, former President and CEO of New York based agency Paint The Town Red, as an Advisor to the First Protocol Board of Directors and senior management. Howard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the industry, particularly the US market, and will be a great asset to FP as we drive the business forward.
A First for First Protocol
FP has just announced its sponsorship of the PEI Media Investor Relations & Communications Forum in New York in June. The Forum is the only event of its kind that brings together the senior investor relations, marketing and communications professionals from the private equity community. The move is intended to position the agency as the market leader in the private equity sector, with Richard Waddington, First Protocol CEO, already due to participate in a workshop panel discussion on the delivery of annual investor meetings and investor engagement.

Kate Gibson
Kate Gibson has joined First Protocol London, moving from Deutsche Bank to take on a Team Manager position within outsourced contracts. Kate brings with her a wealth of corporate experience that is already proving of great benefit to the outsourcing projects she is involved with.

First Protocol CEO Richard Waddington will be speaking on a panel at COPE' s (Council of Protocol Executives) biennial Event Power meeting on February 26, 2010 at 10 on The Park in the Time Warner Center. Richard will co-present with Visit London about sponsorship and hospitality opportunities for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The title of the presentation is, 'London: Ahead of the Games'

Sikorsky Helicopter has engaged the services of First Protocol to manage a launch event in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a new helicopter product being delivered to the Canadian military. Meanwhile, a number of the London team are currently in Singapore delivering UTC' s presence at the Singapore International Airshow.
