First Protocol CEO Richard Waddington will be speaking on a panel at COPE' s (Council of Protocol Executives) biennial Event Power meeting on February 26, 2010 at 10 on The Park in the Time Warner Center. Richard will co-present with Visit London about sponsorship and hospitality opportunities for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The title of the presentation is, 'London: Ahead of the Games'

Sikorsky Helicopter has engaged the services of First Protocol to manage a launch event in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a new helicopter product being delivered to the Canadian military. Meanwhile, a number of the London team are currently in Singapore delivering UTC' s presence at the Singapore International Airshow.

FP New York provided transportation logistics and concierge services for the global finalists in the LG Mobile World Cup Texting Championship that took place at Gotham Hall in New York City.

FP New York was quite busy during this most festive time of the year delivering three Holiday Parties in the span of two weeks.

Practicing what we preach on the continued importance of events, despite the economic climate, both offices and our outsourced teams all enjoyed a well-earned holiday party in December, providing the opportunity for colleagues to meet up and have some fun, laughter and just a couple of drinks. Thanks to Mark G, Katherine, Liz and Hillary for doing such a good job organizing.

A traditionally busy time for FP, this November was no different, with Annual Investor Meetings successfully delivered by the London and New York team in Prague, Dublin, London, New York and Paris, as well as a five day sponsor program at the Champions League in Madrid.

FP New York were also busy, delivering ReachLocal' s presence at Ad:Tech in the Jacob Javits Convention Center and Lloyd' s 360° Risk Insight Program at the TimesCenter.

FP London also held their fifth annual Thanksgiving event, welcoming key partners and suppliers in to our office for an informal evening with FP 'at home'. This popular occasion provides us with the opportunity to show our appreciation for the support our partners give us during the year. This year' s event saw the inaugural First Protocol Supplier Awards, which provided both fun and controversy!

Our beloved New York Yankees won their 27 World Series Championship and First Protocol was there to support MasterCard with their 'Priceless Moments' experiences at Games 2 and 4.

Our regular Thought Leadership events were well supported, with Mary Jo Jacobi speaking on 'Restoring Brand Reputation' at the London dinner and author, Erika Anderson speaking about her new book 'Being Strategic' at The Hudson Yards Catering kitchen in New York.
