First Protocol

Tier 1 Investment Bank Case Study

Since 2006, First Protocol has offered its clients a 'white label' outsourcing service, implanting personnel into a number of our clients' offices in both New York and London. Our outsourcing model is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, ranging from one project manager working one day a week to a full-time team of five, all working onsite at our clients' offices. The onsite teams work as an integrated part of the client's team handling a high volume and range of events from internal meetings through to major conferences across the world.

In each instance the embedded team provides our client with a best in class on-site event management and delivery team, supported by offsite administrative, HR and managerial resources based at First Protocol's New York and London offices. The contract offers our clients the flexibility to adjust the makeup and size of the team in response to changing types and volume of event marketing requirements, reduces team downtime due to sickness or annual leave issues and finally gives our immediate client the space to focus on business critical issues within their marketing department in the knowledge that event delivery is being efficiently managed.

First Protocol undertakes on an ongoing basis a significant amount of team training to ensure the onsite and support personnel are fully versed on the client's working practices, brand guidelines, IT procedures and compliance and security guidelines.

These contracts are operated according to detailed key performance indicators and service level agreements which are closely monitored and reviewed through quarterly reports. The results from these performance indicators are typically tied directly to our profitability to ensure a consistently high level of service for the client.

The success of these contracts is largely due to the strong working relationship which has developed between First Protocol and our clients. These relationships are based on trust, openness and a mutual desire for the project to succeed; attributes which are essential to any successful partnering venture.
