Jared Elish
Title: Business Development Director
Office: New York
Role: Jared is responsible for Business Development in the US with a key focus on generating and building relationships with new clients. Working in tandem with the UK sales team, Jared's business development efforts concentrate on cultivating relationships with clients who seek an agency with the experience and ability to execute customized events globally. Jared also represents First Protocol through his membership in various industry trade associations including Meeting Planners International (MPI) and International Special Events Society (ISES).
Bio: Jared graduated from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo in 1995 with a B.S. Degree in Social Sciences. His affinity for events began back in High School and college when he travelled nationally during weekends and winter and summer breaks with an entertainment company supporting production logistics for corporate, social and charitable events. Jared brings to the team a strong background in executing large international conventions and exhibitions. As Senior Operations Manager at VNU Expositions (now Nielsen Company), he produced and managed the operations team for the four largest conventions focusing on the Motion Picture Industry; Show East (Orlando), Show West (Las Vegas), CineAsia (Beijing), and Cinema Expo International (Amsterdam) with an annual operations budget in excess of $5M.
Away from FP: When not at work in the Big Apple, Jared spends most of his time in the 'burbs' working on his house. He lives in Nassau County, Long Island with his wife Kristyn, their daughter and a Black Lab/Pitbull mix called Langston.

Simon Mogford
Title: Marketing and Business Development Manager
Office: London
Role: Simon has responsibility for driving sales and marketing activity from the UK office, working closely with the US Sales & Marketing team. Focusing primarily on securing new business within the Finance, Professional Services and Aerospace & Defense sectors, Simon also coordinates the UK's PR and client engagement activities, including the high-level “Food for Thought” meetings and dinners.
Biography: A qualified marketer and member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Simon joined First Protocol in 2007 and brings a wealth of business development and consultancy experience to the team. Simon graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield in 2003 before moving abroad to work in Seville. He returned to London in 2005, taking on an account management role focusing on the financial services sector. With a passion for marketing and a family background in sports hospitality, Simon's role at First Protocol allows him to bring the benefit of his knowledge and experience to prospective clients and assist them in defining and delivering against their event marketing objectives.
Away from FP: Having lived in Spain for a number of years, Simon is fluent in Spanish and enjoys nothing more than sharing tapas and a glass of Rioja or two with friends. He loves rugby, is a keen golfer and a member of The Royal Birkdale Golf Club. Although he now lives in south London, Simon is still an avid fan of Liverpool Football Club.
